Kumogakure Research and Development List (Gabriel Tsukichi)
** Herein is a list of Designs and Prototypes being worked on by Gabriel Tsukichi for the Kumogakure Research Division **
** All information is considered Classified **
Kenjutsu Robot Pre-Production Stage
- Spoiler:
So I made a kinda sorta working prototype of this, and it proceeded to freak out and cut down a couple of trees before the head exploded. The idea is sound though! Using currently available mimicry components available to the Kumogakure Science Division, Kenjutsu abilities can be programmed in and activated under specific set of circumstances. Power regulation is an issue due to the limited power provided by standard Chakra batteries, but that can be dealt with!
Combat Mechanical Suit Design Stage
- Spoiler:
BEST IDEA! Take one a (prototype) gatling cannon, mount it on a prototype Mechanical suit, and put a person in it! Unfortunately the cannon is to powerful and knocks the suit over, and it becomes to heavy with the armor plating so... Rough design is being submitted! It has less armor, which should alleviate the movement issues, still hafta find out how to make it not fall over, maybe a tail brace?
Combat Robot Limited Production Stage
- Spoiler:
Robotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobot. A heavy-robot that excels in heavy-lifting, as well as siege tactics, it has very thick armor, and a moderate AI that allows extensive programming for combat situations, as well as voice activated programming, all available power is used to making the thing go so it cannot really do anything but hit REALLY HARD. Also, robotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobotrobot
GATLING CANNON Limited Production Stage
- Spoiler:
I have decided to name this a Gatling Cannon... cause it gatlings, and is a canon! It has been successfully prototyped, and is ready for deployment; it is very heavy and so needs to be wagon mounted for movement, and then ground mounted afterwards, it also tends to heat up quickly. Can fire any kind of projectile if used with chakra, but primarily used with black powder projectiles. Don't use Fire with the Projectiles! SO MUCH CLEANUP IF YOU DO. GOO EVERYWHERE! AND FIRE! AND METAL! Based off of some weird kind of Ninja-Train that shot a whole lot of Shuriken. This is smaller than a train though.
Gatling Rifle Limited Production Stage
- Spoiler:
A Handheld version of my Gatling Cannon, A prototype has been made, buuuut it is mostly for show right now, the projectile strength is to much for an average person to use, and to little ammunition is able to be carried by combat robotsrobotsrobots. As soon as I figure out how to get it smaller and lighter it can go into Testing!
Mechanical Suit Prototype Stage
- Spoiler:
A mechanical suit for shinobi in the field. It increases the users strength, defenses, it does however block the use of Ninjutsu as you cannot really get the chakra through the armored shell very well due to it being sealed to PREVENT attacks from getting in. SO, it is a prototype, however it works, more or less! Same issue with power generation, though can be slightly negated by having the user use their own chakra to supplment the chakra batteries. It is like a Man in a Robot! A MANBOT! A ROBOTMAN! ROBOBMANBOMAN!
ARMORED VEHICLE Prototype Stage
- Spoiler:
Prototype armored vehicle for moving Shinobi through enemy positions with as little loss of (allied) life as possible. Currently uses steam engines to make it run, so would benefit from Fire and Water drivers in it... its VERY VERY looooud though, so it cannot be used in stealth operations at all except as an evac vehicle maybe. The Prototype is weaponless, however there are holes for Shinobi within to fire from, if under fire they can be closed. The vehicle is hardened against Fire, but the treads are susceptible to Ice right now, and it will sink RIGHT into any marshy, squishy, super bloody ground
FLYING BALLOOON OF DOOOOOM... or Zeppelin, I don know yet Prototype Stage
- Spoiler:
I have been working on smaller versions of this, using Helium or Hydrogren to propel them into the air, and then small repurposed wind generators to act as propellors. This is the full-size! It is supposed to be used as an aerial assault platform from which allied Shinobi can drop into enemy positions, it has a thin sheet of steel around it, and inside are the 'lift' balloons full of Helium (some of my Hydrogen models exploded... I apologize to the Kage for one exploding above his house.. and catching it on fire... and falling onto his garden). Gatling cannons can feasibly be mounted on the underside to be fired from above, though ammunition is an issue, i'll have to figure out a belt-fed method. Either that, or a hanger can be installed to drop the Combat Robots or Mechanical Suits? FALLING ROBOTS OF DOOM. Maybe replace mechanical suits with some kind of shell that will allow Shinobi to drop from a long height?
Update: Heilum has replaced original hydrogen design, several propellers added to compensate for the loss of available Lift. Platform shortened but more heavily armored than previously with 3 Gatling Cannons attached to the base of the Platform.

Re: Kumogakure Research and Development List (Gabriel Tsukichi)
Prosthetic Heart Prototype Phase
Prosthetic Bodyparts Production Stage
Cybernetic Brain Design Stage
Kumogakure Power Plant Construction Awaiting Approval
Flying Rotory Doom Castle Thing!
Focused Chakra Explosives Self-Production
- Spoiler:
Considering that a heart is pretty much just pressure, pumps, valves, and chambers, I believe I have created a functional replacement heart that can be used in emergencies; cause hearts are kinda hard to grow on the spot, the issue is the miniature pump inside of the device will need to be recharged every few months, and there is the possibility of rust if water gets on it...Though I mean, if someone stabs you with water you'll have other problems
Prosthetic Bodyparts Production Stage
- Spoiler:
Same as above! But in arm form! Essentially it is a series of wires and electrodes that are attached as best as possible to the user, the arm has limited movement and function but is a suitable replacement until a Medical Shinobi can assist in creating a new arm. Possibly able to connect the wires to the nervous system to allow more fluid movement and Chakra control, a big metal arm would be pretty cool
Cybernetic Brain Design Stage
- Spoiler:
This is difficult, like trying to do your own brain surgery difficult. Which is difficult I can say from experience, but using this cybernetic brain I believe I can implant the synaptic functions of an animal (not humans though, too complex, and potentially WEIRD) into the brain, then implant it into a robotic or possibly even living body, thus creating an artificial intelligence! The base animal is completely unharmed, other than a period of its brain being mapped with medical tools. Very low grade artificial intelligence, but potentially useful for creating loyal Guard robits.robotsrobotsrobots
Kumogakure Power Plant Construction Awaiting Approval
- Spoiler:
- I do not really have pictures for this cause it is an actual building and stuff, but basically it will be an underground (undercliff? Undermountain? We live on a mountain) generator area, it can SAFELY pull chakra that naturally occurs throughout the Village, which will then power up the generators within the Plant. From there, using insulated copper wires that can be safely spread through the Village, we can attach them to the Chakra batteries already powering buildings in the Village; it will power those batteries, and in case of a power failure the batteries can easily provide backup power until it is back up and running! This should solve any power needs that we have, limit the usage of Fires and the like, and hopefully give me points towards replacing the stick int he mud Chief Sc--[redacted]
Flying Rotory Doom Castle Thing!
- Spoiler:
This is special! It uses the same basic concept as my Zeppeliny thingy but instead of using balloons and then using rotors to move it forward, it uses big ol' rotors to LIFT it! It is not quite as sturdy as the Zeppelin, and it is noisier and not as big, but it moves a lot faster. And it has, technically, more storage space cause it does not need the giant gas-bags, cannot hold as many weapons though, and there would be a no-no on adding a hangar, also I think the best powersource right now is STEAM, which is a lot of effort, Chakra generators maybe? Though cannot gurantee that they'll be functional all the time, which would mean 'splat'
Focused Chakra Explosives Self-Production
- Spoiler:
- Taking the basic principles of the Chakra Batteries that are used to run various things in Kumogakure, as well as the larger Chakra generators that were being installed in the Power plant within the mountain, I have changed them from slowly outputting energy for power, to one sudden explosive burst. The larger the device, the larger the explosion. I believe that combined with the appropriate chemicals and some more rare elements the production of a large scale explosive warhead will be possible. The yield of such a device I do not know, but since this will involve actually purposeful explosions the testing will need to be done a safe distance from Kumo.

Re: Kumogakure Research and Development List (Gabriel Tsukichi)
Kumogakure Research Log
Researcher: Gabriel Tsukichi
Subject: Gatling Cannon, - Autofire
Status: Moderate Failure.
Results: In an effort to increase the firing rate of the Gatling Cannon to significantly improve its ability over that of a trained Shinobi, I have added a large storage tank of bullets, as well as steam-powered engine for autofiring the weapon. While this did indeed increase the output of the weapon substantially, over 2000 rounds per minute, the barrels of the weapon became SO HOT that they melted, causing the bullets to explode in the chamber, causing shrapnel to puncture the tank, causing the tank to explode, causing the rest of the bullets to cook off, causing the Test Chamber to become riddled with large holes where large holes are not to be.
Conclusion: I need to either lower the amount of slugs passing through the barrels, increase the barrels strength, or find some way to cool the weapon as it fires. Testing Area #3 is also currently being rebuilt.

Kumogakure Research Log #2
Researcher: Gabriel Tsukichi
Subject: Zeppelin (Continued Development)
Status: Progress pending
Results: After the last time I tried testing the zeppelin with Hydrogen, and it exploded above the Raikage's house and burned half of it down which was completely not my fault it was a spark from someone building something, I have changed out the gas inside of the ridged balloons for Helium. While it doesn't provide the same amount of lift, I believe the additional rotors will be able to assist it in take off/landing and movement. I haven' been able to construct a full-size Prototype as of yet due to the Head Researcher's annoyingness, but the roughly 3 person model seems to be working well, and has yet to explode!
Conclusion: Further testing will need to be done on increasingly larger versions to determine optimal size-to-speed or size-to-carry ratio.
